| The
Black & White items are "copies" of 19th and early 20th
Century design and are made in the same way, i.e hot-forged where
necessary, and assembled with flat-head rivets, not welded. Everything
is made from a "black" steel, which is as close to wrought
iron as possible, and is rolled to a nineteenth century rounded edge
profile. The gothic chair is based loosely on an early nineteenth
century chair in the V&A,but otherwise nothing is actually copied.
Everything is aged and weathered, with several layers of paint of
different colours, chipped away to simulate natural wear & tear. These
are just a small example from our showroom. If you do not find what you are looking for here, then please contact us with your requirements | |
